There ain’t no place like San Francisco
Ronnie Blaze isn’t from the city by the bay. He was brought here really. As were many over the life of this fine city. But he picked his head up, looked around and really tried to get to know the place: its people, its culture, its terrain, its history, its flaws, its magic. These are the experiences that inform his debut single simply entitled San Francisco.
San Francisco is built on myths. A gold rush, A summer of love. But on this track Ronnie isn’t interested in retelling them. Rest assured all the stories told here are all true in one way or another (supposedly there really were Moroccan girls at Chinese karaoke night). People in this town are always talking about how San Francisco isn’t what it used to be, Ronnie might be one of the few who cares what it is.
By the last time he asks if you wanna know why? You'll already know the answer.
